Cem Duruöz and Wesleyan UniversityJuilliard alum guitarist Cem Duruöz is on the faculty of the Wesleyan University. He has been teaching graduate and undergraduate level solo guitar as well as the guitar ensemble class. He also runs the WesGuitars ensemble, which is a student organization performing in the Middletown Area and inviting guest guitarists to Wesleyan to perform. |

Cem Duruöz runs a semi-private guitar class in Milford, Connecticut, where he combines various guitar methods to create a creative approach for the training of young children. Two intensive master-classes were held in Antalya Akdeniz University State Conservatory in summer 2005 and 2006. The students participated in workshops in the morning and did individual lessons.
Cem Duruöz is the artistic director of the New England Guitar Society, which runs under the auspices of the Milford Fine Arts Council. NEGS organizes regular meetings as well as concerts and other classical guitar events in Milford, CT area.
Cem Duruöz runs a month long summer workshop with James Baird in Milford, CONNECTICUT/USA every August.
