This article describes the process that Cem Duruöz followed for his arrangements of the music of Marin Marais which have been published by Productions d'Oz. Synthesis of Guitar Sounds

This article presents the results of Cem Duruöz' sound sysnthesis work at Stanford University. It describes various mechanisms which gives the classical guitar its distinct sound. It elaborates on the effect of nails and the sound they produce on the nylon strings. The Guitar Synthesis article (.pdf format) has appeared International Computer Music Society, ICMC Proceedings, after one of their conferences.
